I have all of the original video series “From Field to Table” (first VHS then DVD) that Mr. Jerry Chiapetta and Chef Milos put together years ago and am thankful thankful for this closely related book, as it shares much of the same information plus a good deal more. There is another wild game book out there that covers Chef Milos wild game cooking instructions in hard print, but it is rare too find and usually expensive. To be short – the wild game spice recipe alone is worth the minor investment of this e-book. The DVDs I mentioned above can still be found on Amazon and other online vendors live Wildharvestdvd.com. This book conveys the importance of handling your fish and game to achieve maximum potential on the plate. How game is handled in the field might be the most overlooked aspect of the process. With Chef Milos’ instruction every detail is laid out to help every level outdoors man from novice to pro. The print is nice and large for those of us who need cheaters,it’ nice to be able to follow the recipes without them. This book is highly recommended and a must have for any outdoors enthusiast. You can’t put a price on the experience level and years testing that combined to produce these world class recipes.
Chef Milos’ book is clear, easy to understand, and full of good ideas for someone who loves organic, free-range meat and wants to do something with it other than use it for hamburger.
