There’s a restaurant across town that has basil chicken curry and I’ve been to find a recipe that’s similar. I finally found one in the Curry Bible. Others have been too bland or too thin and watery but this one is perfect. The addition of coconut ginger complements it so beautifully. It was so easy to prepare and I’ve also enjoyed making the murg rezala with cashews. I can’t wait to try the rest of the recipes but this comprehensive list has been enough to make me regret not trying from home sooner. This is a must read
I’ve always wanted to try to make butter chicken, but curry has always been really intimidating for me. This book is a lifesaver! The recipes are so easy to follow, and even though there are a ton of ingredients involved, these recipes are well worth the preparation. I served the butter chicken with rice and it was HUGE success. These recipes are really easy to alter to taste and I have officially fallen in love with this book. My family might even be getting tired of my new curry obsession but tonight I’m trying eggplant curry and I CAN’T WAIT!
I absolutely LOVE Indian food and as I don’t live near an Indiant restaurant, this book has proven to be a great resource to me to incorporate more yumminess into my life.
