My father said his recipes were the closest to his own grandmother’s. That is probably one of the highest complements as she was a very well regarded cook and baker. Recipes are simple but complex in flavors. This is true Italian cooking at it’s best.

The receipes I”ve tried or reviewed were very good. Reminded me of momma’s (no longer here). Father Orsini has done it right. I think I have every one of his books. Kept under guard. (my family keeps borrowing them.
