I read this book from front to back, and it’s not exactly riveting, but it is a good reference for marathoners who need a little help to stay on track. This book was recommended to me by a dietitian, and I would recommend that any marathoner, novice or elite, keep it on their shelves for reference. It actually does help with balancing meals to get all those calories back that we so desperately want and need, but does so helpfully in order to help lose or maintain weight and perform better. Of course, you have to put in the work, but the book is a good guideline.
this is a solid book full of great ideas and has been very helpful.
