Book arrived in great condition–just as described. There are numerous detailed color photos throughout that show how to cut and prepare the various types of lamb cuts. The book is so detailed that I think it could serve as an instructional manual for butchers! Many recipes are listed in the book, along with recommendations for/evaluations of each type of cut. I cannot imagine ever needing any other “lamb” book other than this one. I will never try all it has to offer, but like knowing that anything I need to know is at my fingertips. Love all the color photos–something sorely lacking in so many of today’s recipe books! I would recommend this as the definitive lamb cooking book and definitely buy from this Seller again.

I wanted to cook some lamb dishes so I went to book store to do a research. Most cooking books such as Greek or MiddleEast ones have only small sections of recipes dedicated to lamb meat (usually no more than 10). I came back to Amazon and found this old book. Now I have glanced throught it and I am so amazed by the rich amount of knowledge in it. Especially the author did a very detailed job on teaching how to prepare the lamb meat product (which is very different from other meat products). Those not-so-complicated recipes are collected from many different ethnic flavors and can definitely be tried by any family. If you are lamb meat lover this book is a must-have!

Another cookbook from the beautiful Time-Life collection. These cookbooks are amazing. Beautiful step by step color photographs that demonstrate techniques & just the very best recipes. An amazing set of books & each one is amazing. Get them while they are still available; I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
