    Introduction

    Welcome to the third volume of the Easy Dinner Recipes – The Chicken Crock Pot Recipe Collection! I hope you enjoy the 40 recipes I have selected for the third volume.

    There are a variety of different recipes to choose from including simple slow cooker meals, stews, classic chicken entrees and even 10 flavorful chicken wing recipes.

    I hope you enjoy the recipe choices in this book.

    BBQ Chicken Wings

    Ingredients:

    4 pounds of chicken wings – about 20 wings

    2 cups of BBQ sauce

    ½ cup of honey

    3 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce

    1 teaspoon of hot sauce

    Directions:

    Wash chicken wings and pat dry. Broil wings for 8 – 10 minutes a side until chicken is slightly brown. Transfer chicken wings to slow cooker.

    In a separate bowl stir together BBQ sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. Pour over chicken wings and stir to make sure all sides of wings are completely covered.

    Cook on low for 4 – 5 hours.

    Spicy BBQ Chicken Wings

    Ingredients:

    4 pounds of chicken wings, about 20 wings

    1 ½ jars of BBQ sauce

    2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce

    2 tablespoons of molasses

    2 teaspoons of salt

    2 teaspoons of pepper

    1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

    1 tablespoon of chili powder

    4 ounces of hot sauce

    Directions:

    Place chicken wings in the slow cooker.

    In a large bowl, combine all remaining ingredients and stir well. Pour over chicken wings and cover. Cook on low for 5 – 6 hours.

    Spicy Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

    Ingredients:

    4 pounds of chicken wings – about 20 wings

    3 cups of honey

    1 ½ cup of soy sauce

    ¾ cup of ketchup

    2 garlic cloves, minced

    Cayenne pepper to taste

    1/3 cup of oil

    Directions:

    Wash chicken wings and pat dry. Season chicken wings with cayenne pepper.

    In a separate bowl combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic and oil. Stir well and then pour over chicken wings. Stir slow cooker to ensure all wings are completely covered.

    Cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.

    Honey and Soy Sauce Chicken Wings

    Ingredients:

    4 pounds of chicken wings, about 20 wings

    1 cup of soy sauce

    1 cup of honey

    2 cups of brown sugar

    1 teaspoon of lemon juice

    1 teaspoon of worcheshire sauce

    1 teaspoon of chili powder

    1 teaspoon of ground ginger

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    Directions:

    In a mixing bowl, mix together everything except the chicken wings. Pour half of the mixture into the slow cooker.

    Place the chicken wings in the slow cooker and cover with the rest of the sauce. Cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.

    Honey Flavored Chicken Wings

    Ingredients:

    4 pounds of chicken wings, about 20 wings

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    1 ½ cups of honey

    ½ cup of soy sauce

    3 tablespoons of ketchup

    ¼ cup of brown sugar

    1 garlic clove, minced

    Directions:

    Season chicken wings with salt and pepper and place in slow cooker.

    In a separate bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic and brown sugar. Once mixed, pour over chicken wings and stir well in order to ensure all wings are properly coated.

    Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.

    Sweet and Sour Chicken Wings

    Ingredients:

    4 pounds of chicken wings, about 20 wings

    1 cup of brown sugar

    ¼ cup of ketchup

    ¼ cup of white vinegar

    1/8 cup of water

    ¼ cup of soy sauce

    2 tablespoons of hot sauce

    1 teaspoon of garlic flakes

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    Directions:

    Season chicken with salt and pepper, and then place in slow cooker.

    In a separate bowl combine brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, water, soy sauce, hot sauce and garlic. Stir together well and then pour over chicken wings. Stir chicken wings to completely coat in sauce.

    Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.

    Sweet and Sour Chicken Wings II

    Ingredients:

    4 pounds of chicken wings, about 20 wings

    1 cup of brown sugar

    ¼ cup of ketchup

    ¼ cup of white vinegar

    1/8 cup of water

    ¼ cup of soy sauce

    ½ cup of apricot preserves

    4 tablespoons of horseradish

    2 teaspoons of hot sauce

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    Directions:

    Season chicken wings with salt and pepper and place in slow cooker.

    In a separate bowl combine brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, water, soy sauce, apricot preserves, horseradish and hot sauce. Stir together well and then pour over chicken wings. Stir chicken wings well to completely cover them in sauce.

    Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.

    Hot and Spicy Chicken Wings

    Ingredients:

    4 pounds of chicken wings, about 20 wings

    1 cup of hot sauce

    ½ cup of BBQ sauce

    ½ garlic clove, minced

    2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper

    Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions:

    Place chicken wings in slow cooker. Season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.

    In a separate bowl mix together hot sauce, BBQ sauce and garlic. Add or subtract hot sauce depending on your tastes. Pour over wings. Stir chicken wings to ensure that wings are completely covered in sauce.

    Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.

    Teriyaki Chicken Wings

    Ingredients:

    4 pounds of chicken wings, about 20 wings

    1 onion, chopped

    ¾ cup of brown sugar

    ¾ cup of sugar

    1 ½ cup of soy sauce

    ½ cup of sherry

    3 garlic cloves, minced

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    Directions:

    Rinse chicken wings and pat dry. Apply pepper to chicken wings and place in slow cooker.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine onion, brown sugar, white sugar, soy sauce, sherry and garlic. Stir together well, then pour over chicken wings. Stir wings to ensure sauce covers all sides.

    Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 4 – 5 hours.

    Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings

    Ingredients:

    4 pounds of chicken wings, about 20 wings

    8 cloves of garlic, minced

    8 tablespoons of butter

    1 teaspoon of oregano

    1 teaspoon of basil

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    1 cup of grated parmesan cheese

    Directions:

    Place chicken wings in slow cooker.

    In a separate bowl mix together garlic, butter, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken wings; make sure they are evenly coated.

    Add parmesan cheese. Mix chicken wings again to ensure the cheese is on all the chicken wings.

    Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.

    Slow Cooker Chicken Al A La King I

    Ingredients:

    2 pounds of chicken breasts, cubed

    1 stalk of celery, chopped

    1 green pepper, chopped

    ½ cup of onion, diced

    ½ cup of carrots, sliced

    8 ounces of mushrooms, sliced

    1 can of cream of mushroom soup

    1 can of cream of chicken soup

    4 tablespoons of flour

    16 ounces of extra wide egg noodles, prepared and hot

    Directions:

    Mix together flour and both cans of soup. Place in slow cooker. Add chicken and mix together well. Top with celery, onions, green peppers, carrots and mushrooms. Stir to combine.

    Cover and cook on low for 7 – 9 hours. Serve over egg noodles.

    Slow Cooker Chicken Al a King II

    Ingredients:

    4 – 5 cups of chicken, cubed

    ½ cup of onion, finely chopped

    ½ cup of celery, finely chopped

    ½ cup of green pepper, finely chopped

    ½ cup of pimento, chopped

    6 ounces of mushrooms, sliced

    8 ounces of frozen peas

    1 teaspoon of salt

    ½ teaspoon of pepper

    ½ teaspoon of garlic salt

    1 can of cream of mushroom soup

    1 can of evaporated skim milk

    Directions:

    Season chicken with salt, pepper and garlic salt and then place in slow cooker. Add the rest of the ingredients, except for the rice, and mix well. Cook on low for 6 – 8 hours.

    Serve over warm rice.

    Slow Cooker Chicken Al a King III

    Ingredients:

    1 ½ pounds of chicken, cubed

    1 ½ cans of cream of chicken soup

    4 tablespoons of flour

    ½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    2 celery stalks, chopped

    ½ green pepper, chopped

    6 ounces of mushrooms, sliced

    4 carrots, sliced

    ½ onion, chopped

    1 package of frozen peas

    2 cups of rice, cooked

    Directions:

    Combine peppers, carrots, celery, soup and flour in slow cooker and stir together well. Add chicken, mushrooms, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper and onion and combine.

    Cover and cook on low for 7 – 8 hours.

    Add peas and cook for another 45 minutes.

    Serve over rice.

    Slow Cooker Chicken With Mushroom Gravy I

    Ingredients:

    4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

    2 cans of cream of mushroom soup

    10 ounces of mushrooms, sliced

    ½ cup of white wine

    1 teaspoon of salt

    ½ teaspoon of pepper

    Directions:

    Season the chicken with salt and pepper and then place in slow cooker. Cover with soup, white wine and mushrooms. Stir to combine.

    Cover and cook on low for 8 – 9 hours.

    Slow Cooker Chicken With Mushroom Gravy II

    Ingredients:

    6 chicken breasts, halved

    1 can of mushroom gravy

    1 can of cream of mushroom soup

    12 ounces of mushrooms

    4 ounces of cream cheese, cubed

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    1 teaspoon of parsley

    Directions:

    Wash chicken and pat dry. Place chicken in slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and parsley. Cover with gravy and soup. Add mushrooms and cream cheese and cover.

    Cook on low for 7 – 8 hours.

    Autumn Chicken Stew

    Ingredients:

    4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, halved

    1 squash, cubed

    1 zucchini, cubed

    3 yams or sweet potatoes, quartered

    4 carrots, sliced

    2 celery stalks, chopped

    1 onion, diced

    2 garlic cloves, minced

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    1 cup of apple juice or apple cider

    Directions:

    Place squash, zucchini and yams on the bottom of a slow cooker. Cover with apple juice or apple cider. Place halved chicken breasts on top and add carrots, celery, onion, garlic, salt and pepper.

    Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.

    Mexican Style Chicken Stew

    Ingredients:

    1 ½ pounds of boneless chicken breasts, cubed

    1 can of medium salsa

    1 can of black beans

    1 can of chili beans

    1 can of diced green chilies

    1 package of taco seasoning

    Refried rice, prepared and hot

    Directions:

    Mix all ingredients except the rice together in your slow cooker. Stir well and cover and cook for 6 – 8 hours on low.

    Serve over refried rice.

    Tasty Chicken Stew

    Ingredients:

    4 chicken breasts, cubed

    16 ounces of diced tomatoes

    3 potatoes, cubed

    6 carrots, chopped

    2 celery stalks, chopped

    1 onion, chopped

    1 green pepper, chopped

    1 red pepper, chopped

    8 ounces of mushrooms, sliced

    1 can of chicken broth

    1 can of cream of mushroom soup

    4 teaspoons of sugar

    2 teaspoons of chili powder

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    Directions:

    Place chicken, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, peppers and mushrooms in slow cooker. Stir ingredients to combine. Add sugar, chili powder, salt and pepper. Cover with soup and broth.

    Cook on low for 7 – 9 hours.

    Chicken Stew With Green Chilies

    Ingredients:

    4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cubed

    2 – 4 ounces jars of roasted green chilies

    1 teaspoon of sage

    1 teaspoon of ground cumin

    1 garlic clove, minced

    1 yellow pepper, diced

    1 orange pepper, diced

    2 cans of chicken broth

    ¼ cup of cilantro

    Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions:

    Place chicken in slow cooker and season with sage, cumin, salt and pepper. Add garlic, peppers, chilies and chicken broth. Cover and cook on low for 7 – 9 hours.

    Serve garnished with cilantro.

    Lemon Garlic Fryer Chicken

    Ingredients:

    3 ½ – 4 ½ lb fryer chicken, neck and insides removed

    2 lemons, quartered

    6 garlic cloves, crushed

    6 carrots, sliced

    1 onion, chopped

    3 celery stalks, chopped

    2 teaspoons of basil

    2 teaspoons of parsley

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    1 cup of chicken broth

    Directions:

    Squeeze lemon juice from one lemon. Brush on all sides of chicken. Now sprinkle the chicken with the salt, pepper, parsley and basil. Also, sprinkle some of the crushed garlic on it. Place the remaining lemons and garlic inside the chicken. Place the chicken in the slow cooker.

    Add carrots, onion, and celery. Pour chicken broth over chicken and veggies and cover. Cook on low for 7 – 9 hours.

    Lemon Roasted Chicken Breasts

    Ingredients:

    6 chicken breasts, skinless and boneless

    2 teaspoons of salt

    2 teaspoons of pepper

    1 teaspoon of basil

    1 teaspoon of oregano

    2 teaspoons of rosemary

    6 ounces of lemon juice

    2 garlic cloves, minced

    1 can of chicken broth

    Directions:

    Season chicken with salt, pepper, basil, oregano and rosemary, and place in slow cooker. Top with half of the lemon juice. Pour chicken broth over the chicken, add the garlic and the rest of the lemon juice.

    Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.

    Lemon Tarragon Chicken with Cauliflower and Artichokes

    Ingredients:

    6 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

    ½ cup of lemon juice

    1 can of chicken broth

    2 teaspoons of tarragon

    2 teaspoons of salt

    2 teaspoons of pepper

    1 package of frozen cauliflower

    1 package of frozen artichokes

    4 tablespoons of flour

    ½ cup of heavy cream

    Directions:

    Place chicken in slow cooker and add lemon juice, chicken broth, tarragon, salt and pepper. Add cauliflower and artichokes.

    In a separate bowl, mix together flour and heavy cream, then pour over chicken.

    Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.

    Orange Glazed Chicken With Sesame Seeds

    Ingredients:

    4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cubed

    6 ounces of orange juice, frozen and thawed

    2 ounces of orange marmalade

    ½ cup of orange juice

    ½ cup of BBQ sauce

    3 tablespoons of soy sauce

    1 garlic clove, minced

    2 teaspoons of ginger root

    1 teaspoon of nutmeg

    1 teaspoon of marjoram

    1 teaspoon of cinnamon

    ½ cup of flour

    Sesame seeds

    Cooked rice, hot

    Directions:

    Place the flour in a sealable bag, and put chicken in bag a few pieces at a time. Shake to completely cover chicken. Transfer chicken to slow cooker and repeat until all chicken is coated and in slow cooker.

    In a separate bowl Combine orange juice concentrate, orange juice, orange marmalade, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger root, nutmeg, marjoram and cinnamon. Stir well and then pour over chicken. Stir chicken to make sure each piece is completely coated.

    Cover and cook on low for 7 – 9 hours.

    Serve over cooked rice and sprinkle sesame seeds on top of chicken.

    Spicy Slow Cooker Orange Burgundy Chicken

    Ingredients:

    1 pound of chicken breasts, skinless and boneless, cubed

    ¼ cup of orange marmalade

    ¼ cup of orange juice

    ¼ cup of red wine

    1 tablespoon of cornstarch

    1 tablespoon of brown sugar

    1 lemon, juice

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

    1 teaspoon of garlic powder

    1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper

    1 teaspoon of curry sauce

    Directions:

    Wash and pat dry chicken, transfer to slow cooker. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, crushed red pepper and curry sauce.

    In a separate bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Pour over chicken and cover. Cook on low for 7 – 9 hours.

    Simple Barbeque Chicken

    Ingredients:

    3 – 3 ½ pounds of chicken, cut up

    1 ½ cups of ketchup

    1 ½ cups of brown sugar

    1/3 cup of Worcestershire sauce

    Directions:

    Wash and pat dry chicken. Cut into smaller pieces and place in slow cooker.

    In a separate bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 8 – 10 hours.

    Cheesy Chicken

    Ingredients:

    4 chicken breasts

    1 can of cream of chicken soup

    1 can of cheddar cheese soup

    4 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

    4 ounces of Swiss cheese, shredded

    4 ounces of Colby jack cheese, shredded

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    1 teaspoon of garlic, minced

    Pasta of choice, prepared per package direction

    Directions:

    Wash chicken and pat dry. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic. Place in slow cooker. Pour both cans of soup over chicken and cover. Cook on low for 8 hours.

    In a separate bowl, mix together sharp cheddar, Swiss and Colby jack cheeses. Lift lid of slow cooker and evenly sprinkle over chicken. Replace lid and cook for another 30 minutes, or until all cheese is completely melted.

    Serve over pasta.

    Easy Cheesy Slow Cooked Chicken

    Ingredients:

    4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

    1 can of cream of chicken soup

    1 can of cheddar cheese soup

    1 cup of white wine

    4 slices of swiss cheese

    1 teaspoon of salt

    1 teaspoon of pepper

    1 teaspoon of basil

    1 teaspoon of parsley

    Directions:

    Place chicken breasts in slow cooker. Season with salt, pepper, basil and parsley. Cover each chicken breast with a slice of swiss chesse.

    In a separate bowl mix together soups and wine, then pour over chicken.

    Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.

    Country Style Chicken and Rice

    Ingredients:

    1 pound of chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

    1 onion, chopped

    4 celery stalks, cho
