From the Inside Flap
When it comes to hearty, satisfying snacks, one food rules the roost—wings. Whether you’re watching the big game or hanging out on the patio, serving a tapas meal or putting out cocktail party nibbles, you can’t go wrong with these tender, flavorful chicken morsels. Wings first took flight in Buffalo, where they were paired with hot sauce, celery, and blue cheese. But as Debbie Moose shows in this one-of-a-kind cookbook, there is more than one way to make wings soar. Inside, you’ll find 65 terrific recipes and gorgeous color photographs that demonstrate just how deliciously versatile wings can be. If you’re a fledgling wings chef, Moose shows how easy it is to turn out perfect fried, baked, and grilled wings—and impress guests with easy-but-delicious recipes like Crispy Italian Fliers and Crunchy Lemon-Pepper Wings. If you like your wings hot and spicy, she shows you how to blast off with incendiary recipes ranging from Classic Buffalo Wings to Mole Ole, Tangy Thai Wings, and Vindaloo Vipers. And if you’re looking for wings that are truly out of this world, try out exotic delights like Wings Go Coconutty, Chinese Five-Spice Chicks, and Ginger-Lime Wings with Rum Glaze. Complete with recipes for sauces, dips, and salsas that can elevate plain wings into something extraordinary, Wings delivers everything you need to create the perfect party menu. So invite your friends, cook up some special wings, and watch the party take off.
From the Back Cover
“The best thing about wings is the taste. They pack more tender flavor into a smaller package than almost any other food. It’s time for them to soar with flavors that let their goodness shine through. Grilling, roasting, and frying them at home will give you wings worthy of a championship ring. There are so many options that you’ll start thinking of wings not just as a munchie but as cocktail party hors d’oeuvres or part of a meal of tapas-style little dishes. Step to the fowl line with any of these recipes and you’ll be a winner.”—From Wings

I had been looking for a cookbook that was devoted exclusively to wings-recipes that were super easy and super good-this book delivers on all counts. Yum is all I can say-finally I can offer something other than the same old wings smothered in hot sauce-not that there is anything wrong with that. You can use the sauces on other dishes and basically, the title of the book says it all. Thank you Debbie Moose for writing this book-now please write one for potatoes:-)
Wonderful variety in methods and spicing plus many different types of crust. Great book for the single person or twosome wing lovers who would wish to create any of the tasty creations this book offers. Buy it!!
This book is a favorite! Clear wonderful recipes. I have made nearly every recipe with great success!
