Birgit is a Senior Scientific Officer at the Food Packaging Forum and is deeply involved in investigating the chemical safety of packaging materials, including chemical migration and recycling aspects. She leads scientific studies and develops the Forum’s scientific dossiers.

Scientific Officer and Scorecard Lead
Etienne is a Scientific Officer at the Food Packaging Forum. He supports scientific research across the organization and leads the ongoing development of the Understanding Packaging (UP) Scorecard.
Heike Mackenbach
Office Manager
Heike is the Food Packaging Forum’s Office Manager and is responsible for internal administration. She is also involved in managing coordination with project partners, developing communications, and organizing annual events and meetings.
Dr. Jane Muncke
Managing Director
Jane is the Food Packaging Forum’s Managing Director. She leads scientific research and outreach projects, and collaborates with external stakeholders from academia, industry, public interest groups, and media. She supports the Board in its strategic decision making.
Joel Scheuchzer
Communications Officer
Joel is the Communications Officer at the Food Packaging Forum. He is responsible for public-facing communications and media outreach. In addition, he maintains the forum’s digital presence and reports on developments across the field.
Justin Boucher
Operations Director
Justin is the Food Packaging Forum’s Operations Director and is responsible for coordinating the use of resources and the implementation of the Forum’s strategy. He works to develop effective communications and outreach efforts.
Lindsey Parkinson
Data Scientist and Scientific Editor
Lindsey is a Data Scientist and Scientific Editor at the Food Packaging Forum. She leads data analytics for the Forum’s scientific research projects as well as supports public communications activities.
